”And that's how I lost a game of poker to Santa Claus… oh, it seems we're here. Well then, after you, cap'n…zzz”

The party unboards the boat onto a creaky old dock. It's foggy… there's a sense of dread in the air. The fog is thick, it's hard to see even a few feet in front of you… you can make out a few shadows… and you can hear creatures prowling.

Making their way into the building, the party discovers that it was once the Briney Plague Hospital. The rooms downstairs are full of abandoned beds and medical equipment, but in one of the rooms lies another beast: It looks like a rather large rabbit, but resembles something closer to a hare… Its long ears covered in infection and rot, and its fur all fallen out... The creature chirps, though its voice is broken. The hare’s eyes have been plucked out, or maybe they fell… Most notably, it has a large tumor on its back… broken through the skin, fleshy, and covered in eyes much larger than the rabbit’s eyes, staring… A few of the party members are able to take down the threat by themselves, making their way upstairs to meet with Pyrith, who had already begun investigating the file cabinets…

In the cabinets, he finds a map to follow. A single location is marked on the map in black ink. Somewhere not far from here, not far at all…

However, as the party begins to follow this map, they are suddenly confronted by a humanoid creature, but it’s much too tall… a large pale man towers over the party, his body obscured by the fog. His feet and hands are planted firmly in the ground as he crawls towards them… his flayed skin flies in the wind like wings… his torso is disfigured… Suddenly, gurgling, he begins to spit acid from his splayed ribcage.

Following the arduous battle, the creature huddles in on itself, sobbing. Just as Dilitrio is about to deal the final blow, it grabs him and in a last ditch effort, tries to drown him. Luckily, Dilitrio is saved by Pyrith, but Pyrith is growing weak… how much longer can he keep this up?
